Here's a few things to about me:
I’ve always been a maker. It’s not something I chose, but something I've kind of always been. And this definitely isn’t me calling myself handy. Ikea furniture fears me and my inability to follow directions.
What I mean by this is I thrive on structure, turning raw materials into something tangible. I'd like to think I'm resourceful, meticulous, and always looking for ways to bring ideas to life. My earliest memory being my duct tape shoe business when I was 8 years old. Yes, actual shoes, made entirely out of duct tape, right from my living room. Eventually, I swapped tape for fabric and started sewing real clothes, learning that style isn’t just bought, it’s built. This maker in me loves planning, problem-solving, and making sure every idea has the foundation to stand.
At the same time, there’s another part of me, the ikea direction hating part of me that secretly loves ditching the blueprint and seeing where creativity takes me. My first love was art class, experimenting, making messes, and letting ideas unfold naturally. For me creating isn’t work, it’s play. It’s instinct, imagination, and seeing beauty in the unexpected.
The truth is, I often forget how different these to sides of me are. The structure keeps me grounded, the spontaneity keeps things interesting. And together, they turn my ideas into something worth making
